How best to prepare teachers for the daily responsibilities of classroom teaching is an ongoing debate around the world.

SriDaF as a network with the blessings of Goethe-Institut Sri Lanka also focuses a lot on Teacher training programs and make sure the Sri Lankan education network of German teachers acquire the latest of such.

We have a school and university network of over 100 education/higher education institutes connecting all corners of the Island. And German learners vary from Grade 01 to Masters/PhD degree. The Goethe-Institut is the world's leading provider of professional development for German teachers, as well as offering advice on curricula and teaching materials for practice-oriented learning.

Every year SriDaF connects new faces in the German language scene in Sri Lanka. Most of these teachers are graduated from Sri Lankan state universities and appointed as German Language professionals in Sri Lankan education Institutes. We also have extended our network to online and private German language teaching experts.

SriDaF is a platform to discuss and find solutions to day-to-day issues rising within the German language/ foreign language teachers in Sri Lanka. As a result of SriDaF there are many new implications and changes in the system of government Language teaching in a positive direction and there are more to come, which are in discussion.
