About SriDaF

SriDaF is the only professional German language teachers’ network in Sri Lanka which consists of German language professionals in the country and the network of teachers expands every year. The association advances the profession by fostering integrity, teamwork, and competence without a partisan agenda, as well as by providing a modern approach to teacher representation and educational advocacy.

We strive to enhance and uplift the quality of German language teachers and improving the language competency of German language teachers in Sri Lanka.

The German Teachers’ Association of Sri Lanka focuses the attention to empower the German language teachers with proper and appropriate knowledge and skills in order to perform well as a recognized and skilled foreign language teacher and thereby escorting them to improve their self-status as teachers.

SriDaF also provides a platform for all the German teachers in the country to get together and build up the mutual interconnection among each other to work together to achieve commonly shared goals.

Teachers will be able to share their personal experience and knowledge among each other and come up with novel teaching methods and ways to be practiced in the classroom context under the workshops conducted by Goethe-Institut.

We pay our attention to assist newly appointed teachers, as our association is always keen on providing our best support for freshers, giving them multiple opportunities.
